It was a picture perfect day for our first Tournament of 2018 with 8 teams of 3 participating in 2x10 end games sponsored by Pest Protective Services. Here are some highlights. National Bowls Canada Day

Grand Cove Lawn Bowling Club

is celebrating 2018 National Bowling Day on

Sunday, June 15th 2018 at the Jack Shack

by sponsoring a barbeque.

All Cove residents are invited to

come out to observe or give the sport a try

12:30 to 3:00

Enjoy a burger with chips/pop/ice cream for $2

(12:30-1 p.m.)

And a chance to win a door prize.

Special Jitney this Friday May 18 at 4:00 pm

As Stratford has no club at which to play this year, we have been asked if we can help them out by inviting their members to our club when it suits.

One of their members is visiting here this Friday and we are planning an impromptu jitney. He is a novice player so some of our novices might be especially interested.

All GCLBC members are welcome to come out Friday at 4:00 to take part.

The 14th Anniversary Tournament sponsored by Pest Protection is fast approaching. Make your way to the Jack Shack to sign up in the Draw Master Tournament Book. The prize for top team is $90. Lunch is included for your $5 fee.
