Huron Pest Control Tournament

It was touch and go as to whether this tournament would go due to the oppressive heat expected but we went ahead and didn't even need a break in the first game thanks to a lot of cloud cover and a nice breeze. The second game ended with full sun and no breeze. It was hot but so was the competition. This year's champs were Bob Stewart and John Adams. OLBA Senior Triples in Windsor

Our own Grand Cove Senior Women had a great first day at the OLBA Seniors Triples Tournament, winning two games before they tied their third. Shirley Bain, Linda Clarke and Rosalind MacDonald will play in the quarter finals tomorrow. The top two teams in the tournament advance to the Canadian Championships in Beaconsfield, Quebec in September.
